I’ve decided not to pay one of my major credit cards. I have 2 cards from that company. One has a 150k limit and the other one has a 50k limit. I skipped my payment for the 150k limit last August 26th. My pay wasn’t available till the 28th and since I got lazy going to the bank to pay it, I just decided to stop paying it completely. I will just wait for it to be delinquent so that I can have some sort of a payment arrangement deal with the bank company. Am still thinking if I will also stop paying the one with the 50k limit. I’m already 80% decided about stopping the payments I send to that card too. What I’m aiming for are lesser monthly dues that is why I am doing this coz each month I pay 8k and 5k minimum for the 2 cards. Well, technically, all my pay goes to my cards. Pathetic right? I really have no idea how I ended with these financial burdens. But I hope I’m doing the right thing here. I still have a credit card with a 107k limit and that has been maxed out too. Then there’s still 3 more cards with lower limits that I have to pay (35k – now 3 months delinquent, 10k and 10k). I was even thinking that I’d stop sending money for the rest of my cards and concentrate on sending a lump sum on 1 card at a time so that I can close those accounts. I think that’s what I’ll be doing. That way I can focus on spending my money for those cosmetology colleges online. I know my learning will come in handy soon.

Let me try to compute here…

20,000 – pay
- 3,757 – loan
- 2,211 – loan
- 1,300 – internet bill
- 1,800 – phone bill
- 1,400 – pay parking (LOL)
- 2,000 – food allowance (1 month)
________
7,500 savings each month…

After 2 1/2 months, I’ll be clean with 2 of my low profile cards. Then I can work on paying the monthly dues on each of the other cards. I hope this plan works. hehehe
