I tried to transfer the platform of this site to WordPress. In order to do that, I immediately deleted the blog. Of course I made sure that I have a backup file of this one. So there, I deleted this blog hoping that it will be that easy. When I tried to migrate it to WordPress, I got an Error 404 Not Found message. Shacks! And I deleted this one already. Am glad that I was able to reinstate everything back. I didn’t expect it to be that easy.

I have an extra slot for this site at my other hosting company which is why I want to migrate and use my own hosting service. So I called my hosting company and they mentioned that I have to change the DNS settings. I’m not really techie so I didn’t know what that meant. After contacting another chat support agent, they told me to contact my domain registrar. I sent GoDaddy an email and it seems that I’d have to endure a lot of headaches before I can fully transfer or change the DNS servers of this site. I hope they work on it fast. I can’t wait to get out of Blogger. First reason is I can’t access the platform at work if I need to do important stuff with the site since our firewall is up and they blocked Blogger and Gmail among other sites. I really don’t have a clue why they included Gmail. Second, its too simple and not end-user friendly. The structure is so limited. There. I hope all goes well with this. Wish me luck!
