My Dream Kitchen
Ever since we got cable, I couldn’t stop flipping channels over those lifestyle networks. Not to mention those cooking shows and house makeovers. I couldn’t keep myself from watching those shows. I have to admit it. I’m one of those hopeless individuals trying to dream about getting my own house makeover or even just a kitchen makeover. A new acquaintance even asked me if I cook. My reply? I said I don’t. But I am currently collecting a food magazine and told him that as soon as I have my dream kitchen, I’ll start whisking food out of those recipes. All he said was “Dream kitchen, huh? My mom used to also have a dream kitchen.” Can’t he be sarcastic and ride along with my dream?
And then out of the blue, I saw the site of Maple Leaf Market and got the chance to meet the Butcher, the Baker and the Pasta Maker. The site also showcases easy-to-make meal ideas and has some useful tips, recipes, coupons and contests. In fact, the main highlight of it all is the $32,000 Dream Kitchen that they are giving away to celebrate the launch of their site. And not only that, they are also giving away 12 Frigidaire® fridges!
If I were to win this contest, I’d be unstoppable. I think I might even live in my dream kitchen. I can only imagine the different food that I can cook from those prizes. I just hope I can dream all day long.
